BENJAMIN VICK

   NEWSOMS - Ben Vick, 93, retired farmer of Newsoms, died Tuesday at the home 
of his niece, Mrs. Clark Vick of Portsmouth.

   He was the son of the late John and Susan Vick*, Southampton County and a 
member of Newsoms Methodist Church.

   He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 
held at Purviance Funeral Home in Boykins Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ben Coe, 
pastor of Newsoms Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Newsoms 
Cemetery.
