All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Willie Vick Succumbs at 72 BOYKINS - Mrs. Beulah Vick, died early Saturday morning at a Denbigh hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Vick was a life-long resident of Southampton County and was a member of Clarksbury Methodist Church. She was the widow of the late Willie T. [sic; W.] Vick, and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Story of Southampton County. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Eagerton of Rich Hill, Georgia; four sons, Willie Vick of Boykins, Otis L. Vick and David W. Vick of Portsmouth, and Marvin Vick of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren 10 great- grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Purviance Funeral Home at Boykins. The Rev. Harrell Thach will conduct the service and burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery at Boykins.
