CLYDE VICK

   NEWSOMS - Clyde Vick, 76, of Route 1, died Dec. 22 in a Franklin hospital.

   Mr. Vick, a lifelong resident of Southampton County, was a retired farmer 
and had retired from St. Regis Paper Co., Franklin.  He was a member of 
Barnes United Methodist Church, Newsoms, and the S&S Hunt Club.

   Survivors include his wife, Juanita Barnes Vick; a daughter, Betty J.V. 
Everett, Capron; two sons, Bobby M. Vick of Franklin and James C. Vick of 
Newsoms; three sisters, Adelle Drake and Nellie Drake, both of Newsoms, and 
Bessie Barrett of Franklin; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

   The graveside service was conducted Thursday in Hollywood Cemetery, 
Newsoms, by the Rev. Charlene Beethovan.  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, 
handled arrangements.
