Vick, daughter of Ernest R. Taylor and the late Mrs. Bessie Barkley Taylor, died in Newsoms Friday*, in her 32nd year, survived by husband, father, four children, Bernice, Mayzell, Samuel and Raymond, of Newsoms; one brother, Fletcher Taylor, of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Pete Ellis, Mrs. Thomas Johnson, and one half-sister, all of Newsoms. The funeral was conducted by Rev. C.F. Moseley of Newsoms M.E. Church, assisted by Rev. C.P. Cleveland of the Newsoms Baptist Church Saturday. She was a member of the Memorial Methodist Church in Petersburg. There were many pretty flowers given by her family and friends. The active pallbearers were: Della [sic; Dellie] A. Vick, John E. Vick, George Story, Curry Lee Vick, Ernest Cutchins and Amos Porter. Gladys (TAYLOR; Mrs. Luther B.)
