A native of Southampton County, he was a son a George Washington and Mrs. Marietta Davis Vick and husband of the late Mrs. Gillie Hundley Vick. He was a member of Sebrell Methodist Church; a veteran of the Spanish American War; Holly Lodge, Woodmen of the World and a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Inland Game and Fisheries. Mr. Vick received his pen for being a 50 year member of the Woodmen of the World. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Marcia Hundley Vick and a granddaughter, Mrs. Nancy Vick Owens, both of Courtland. A funeral service was held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin by the Rev. Harold Moreland. W.J.M. Holland and Sons was in charge.
