All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ HARRY THOMAS VICK Harry Thomas Vick, 44, of 559 Laurel Street, died in Southampton Memorial Hospital Friday, April 29 at 5:45 a.m. from results of injuries received in an automobile accident. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Arthur Davis Vick and the late Mrs. Minnie Bryant Vick. He was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Powell Vick; a daughter Mrs. Shirley V. Vick of Franklin; three sons Terry T. Vick of Franklin and John Vick and Richard Vick of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Garrett of Raleigh and Miss Helen Vick of Petersburg; and three brothers, Hinton Vick of Adams Grove, Henry Vick of Drewryville, and Elridge Vick of Louisville, Ky. A funeral was conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home by the Rev. Ben W. Farley of Franklin Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Robert Stephenson, Frank Sieling, Jack Farmer, Jim Albertia, Dick Bond and E.G. Evans.
