Holland and Sons Funeral Chapel, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. S.C. Collins of the Franklin Church of God and Dr. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Fred Rabil, Carlton Lewter, George Parker, Mike Collins, Jimmie Hughes and M.P. Hughes. Vick, 59, died Saturday at 7 p.m. in his home. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Leonard and Mrs. Effie Vick and the husband of the late Lucy Luter* Vick. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and an employee of Union Camp Corp. He is survived by two sons, C.C. Vick of Valentine and Hugh Thomas Vick Jr. of Franklin; four daughters, Mrs. Addie Turner of Franklin, Mrs. Effie Clark of Windsor; Mrs. Kay Warren Piccalo of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Shirley Johnson of Garysburg, N.C.; two brothers, Henry Vick of Norfolk and Wallace Vick of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Vick on Newsoms and Mrs. Fannie Joe Drake of Newsoms; and 12 grandchildren.
