Vick, died Sunday at his home here. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Vick; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Burton of Baltimore, Mrs. E.E. Tinsdale of Richmond and Mrs. W.L. Everette of Capron; two sons, J.W. Vick of Courtland and a sister, Mrs. R.T. Whitfield of Courtland. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Holland Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** JOSEPH BENJAMIN VICK COURTLAND - Joseph Benjamin Vick, 75, a farmer of the Courtland community, died at his home on Sunday afternoon, July 6, at 1:30 o’clock after a short illness. A member of Joyner Methodist Church, he was a son of the late Erasmus and Annie Davis Vick of the county. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Sexton Vick; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Barton of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. E.E. Tisdale of Richmond, and Mrs. W.L. Everett, Jr., of Capron; two sons, Jack Wesley Vick of Courtland and Jimmie Irvin Vick of Boykins; seven grandchildren; a brother, Jesse D. Vick of Courtland; and nieces and nephews. Services for Mr. Vick were conducted in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock by Rev. David S. Willis, pastor of Joyner Methodist Church. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. Pallbearers were Frank Davis, Nat Felts, Joe Forrest, Marion Joyner, Richard Kello, Lon Marks, Oscar Siverton and Willie Whitehead.
