A native of Northampton County, she was a daughter of Wiley and Mrs. Addie Beale Lewter and the wife of Hugh Thomas Vick. She was a member of Church of God. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Kay Warren Piccolo of Philadelphia, Mrs. Effie Clark of Windsor, Mrs. Addie Turner of Franklin and Mrs. Shirley Johnson of Branchville; two sons, Hugh T. Vick Jr. of Franklin and Clarence C. Vick of Gastonia, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Mable L. Grizzard of Emporia; and six brothers, Clifton Lewter of Pendleton, N.C., John Lewter of Murfreesboro, N.C., Bennie Lewter of Columbia, S.C., Earl Lewter of Fredericksburg, Clyde Lewter of Halifax and Joe Lewter of Jacksonville, N.C. A funeral service was held Monday at 4 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Lewis Lewter, Carlton Lewter, Cecil Lewis, Fred Rabil, Swanson Grizzard, Joseph Lewter. Lucy (LEWTER; Mrs. Hugh T.)
