Vick of Drewryville, died unexpectedly last Saturday morning at her home. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the graveside in the Capron Cemetery by the Rev. R.D. Stennett, Jr., pastor of the Drewryville Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. R. H. Marks, retired pastor of the Capron Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Bryant. Besides her husband, she leaves four sons, Eldridge Vick of the United States Army in Turkey, Harry Vick of Franklin, Hinton Vick of Adams Grove, and Henry Vick of Drewryville; also two daughter, Mrs. Ernest Garrett of Raleigh, N.C., and Miss Helen Vick of Petersburg; also three half sisters, Mrs. Joseph Barnes of Joyner, Mrs. John Foster of Norfolk, and Mrs. Carl Edwards of Drewryville, and two half brothers, Floyd Bryant and Joe Bryant, both of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. In addition, there are 16 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. At the services, the church choir sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Rock Of Ages." Active pallbearers were L.T. Francis, Monty Francis, Herbert Francis, Vernie Francis, Floyd Barnes and Herman Barnes. Minnie (BRYANT; Mrs. Arthur D.)
