On the day following funeral services were conducted at her home by her Pastor, Rev. L.E. Dailey, her grandson serving as pallbearers. After the services her remains were carried to Newsoms Cemetery and there planted in mother earth under the cover of a beautiful bed of flowers. She and J. Wesley Vick over 53 years ago were united in matrimony. Unto this union were born six children who with their father are left to mourn their loss. She was a loyal wife and devoted mother and her family showed their appreciation by doing all they could for her comfort during her declining years. She professed faith in Jesus Christ and united with Newsoms Baptist Church in the days of her youth. She firmly held to lofty moral ideals which she instilled in her family. By thrift and good management along all lines she and her husband were able to accumulate a small fortune. It is the general consensus of opinion by her family and neighbors that she was a large factor in their financial success. By her Pastor, Rev. L.E. Dailey. Martha Jane (VICK; Mrs. J.
