A native of Franklin, he was a son of A.T. and Mrs. Nettie Outland Vick and the husband of Mrs. Laura Gray Vick. He was a member of Franklin Congregation Church and lived in Florida 15 years. He was a produce clerk. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. L.C. Doughty of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, P.A. Vick, Jr. of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Emmett Boyd and Mrs. W.G. Pruden, and a brother, Leonard C. Vick, all of Seaboard; and two grandchildren. The body was sent to Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield. A funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Franklin Congregation Christian Church by the Rev. St. Elmo Nauman Jr. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmo Eason, Vernard Scott, James E. Bryant, Gilbert Pruden, Robert Bunn and Dan Bryan.
