ROBERT VICK

   Robert Vick of Portsmouth died December 24 at Veterans’ Hospital, 
Kecoughtan, Va., after a short illness.  Funeral services were held at 
Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, December 26 at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Frank B. 
Handley of Boykins Baptist Church officiating.  Music was furnished by Mrs. 
H.M. Purviance.

   Mr. Vick is survived by two brothers; Reuben L. Vick and Ernest Vick, and 
one sister, Mrs. Fanny Miles of Portsmouth.  His wife died in 1914. 
Pallbearers were: Emmett Vick, E.J. Lassiter, Herman Vick Sr., Joseph Francis, 
Howard Vick and Herman Vick, Jr.
