VILLA P. DRAKE VICK

   Funeral services for Mrs. Villa P. Vick, who died early Sunday morning, July 
15, in Raiford Memorial Hospital, were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the 
chapel of the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, 
pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, officiating.

   Mrs. Vick was the widow of Cilas L. Vick and the daughter of the late Martha 
Elizabeth Johnson and George Drake. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist 
Church.

   She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Vassie V. Pope of Carrsville, Mrs. 
Alese V. Carr of Franklin and Mrs. Florence V. Ferguson of Portsmouth; four 
sons, Cullie M. Vick, L.C. Vick and Earl S. Vick of Franklin and Lloyd H. Vick 
of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Whitley of Portsmouth; 22 grandchildren and a 
number of nieces and nephews.

   Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins.
