Wesley Vick, 75, an outstanding farmer of Newsoms community died at his home Monday night after a short illness. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Drake, Mrs. Roy Vick and Mrs. Hollie Lassiter all of Newsoms three sons, Edward Vick and Herman Vick, both of Newsoms and G.E. Vick of Portsmouth, and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence near Newsoms by the Rev. L.E. Dailey, and burial was made in the Newsoms Cemetery.
