SARAH AGNES JONES VAUGHAN 

   Mrs. Agnes Jones Vaughan, age 51 years, wife of Percy E. Vaughan of South 
Quay, and daughter of the late Rev. James E. and Mrs. Eugenia D. Jones, died 
Sunday afternoon following a brief illness.

   Besides her husband she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Pattie J. 
Lawrence and Mrs. Garrie J. Rawls of South Quay and Mrs. John M. Robertson of 
Norfolk; three brothers, J. Paul Jones of Franklin and W.A. and P.A. Jones of 
South Quay.

   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the residence of her 
brother, P.A. Jones, at South Quay with her Pastor, Rev. W.H. Corbitt of South 
Quay, officiating, assisted by Rev. N.G. Newman of Holy Neck and Rev. R.D. 
Stephenson of Franklin.  Interment was made in South Quay Cemetery, the active 
pallbearers being: Wm. J. Jones, J.J. Jones, J.E. Jones, Lawrence Holland of 
Lewiston, N.C. Burnette Johnson, John M. Robertson of Norfolk, Charles Rawls 
and W.F. Jones.
