Ira D. Hudgins. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Freddie Page III, Richard Allgood, Richard Mansfield, William Mozingo, Ralph Keech and Mills Daughtrey. Mrs. Vaughan, 76, died early Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Franklin, she was the widow of Levi McG. Vaughan and a daughter of Thomas Gaskin and Mrs. Penelope Robertson Byrd. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Hawkins and Mrs. Lewis A. Rosser of Norfolk, Mrs. F.M. page Jr. of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. George W. Ferguson of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Caroline (BYRD; Mrs. Levi McG.)
