The widow of Julian G. Vaughan, she was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and a member of Courtland Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, Julian Eldridge Vaughan of Richmond, Wallace M. Vaughan of Norfolk, Harry Sidney Vaughan of Greensboro, N.C., and Jesse Thomas Vaughan of Sedley. A funeral service was held in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Fred T. Wright of Wakefield Christian Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Pallbearers were John Simms, Jr., Hartwell Barrett, Jack Pond, Garland Morris, M.R. Bryant, Elmo Pittman, Al Barrett and B.H. Ward, Jr. Elsie Rena (MORRIS; Mrs. Julian G.)
