All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ QUINTILLA ANN VAUGHAN Miss Quintilla Ann Vaughan, 84, lifelong resident of the Franklin community, daughter of Lawson and Mrs. Sarah Jane Whitfield Vaughan, died Friday, March 26, at her home on Clay Street after an illness of several months. She was a member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church. Surviving are one sister, Miss Emily Jane Vaughan, of Franklin, and one brother, P.C. Vaughan, of Jacksonville, Fla., as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery Sunday at 2:30 p.m., by Dr. William T. Scott. The pallbearers were: H.L. Westbrook, T.N. White, Jr., Carlton Cutchin, J.B. Gay, Jr., George H. Parker and G.E. Pillow.
