Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Fridley Paige, Jerry Keech, Micky Smith, Jesse Harrison, Bryan Midgette and Tommy Dunlow. Mrs. Vaughan, 50, a native of Beaufort County, N.C., died in Southampton Memorial Hospital early Wednesday after a long illness. She was the widow of Lonnie P. Vaughan and a daughter of Mrs. Willie I.* Hunnings Keech of Norfolk and the late William R. Keech. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James E. Hodge of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Beverly Gray of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Donnie Wright of Franklin; a son, Lonnie Mitchell Vaughan of the Army in Germany; five brothers, T.T. Keech and W.D. Keech of Norfolk, and R.D. Keech and L.E. Keech of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. E.E. Smith of Roanoke Rapids; and three grandchildren. Veta Alline (KEECH; Mrs. Lonnie P.)
