Vasser, 76, widow of James Henry Vasser of Southampton County, died Tuesday night, January 18 in a Williamsburg Hospital after an illness of several years. Mrs. Vasser was the daughter if the late William and Martha Jennings of Southampton County, and was an active member of the Black creek Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, Frank Vasser of Franklin; several grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland and Sons, where services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, with Rev. Ira D. Hudgins officiating. Burial will be in Black Creek Cemetery. Syble (JENNINGS; Mrs. James H.)
