EUNICE WILLIAMS WESTBROOK

   Courtland - A funeral service for Mrs. Eunice Williams Westbrook was 
conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Courtland United Methodist Church by the 
Rev. Bobby Tyson, pastor, and the Rev. Charles L. Smith of Franklin.  Burial 
will be in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral 
Home in charge.

   Pallbearers were Edwin Cobb, Martin Cobb, Moroe Joyner, Owen Johnson, S.P. 
Johnson Jr., and W.T. McLemore.

   Mrs. Westbrook, 84, died early Monday in Patrick Henry Hospital, Newport 
News.

   A native a Southampton county, she was the widow of Edwin Person Westbrook 
and a daughter of Junius W. and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Edwards Williams.

   She was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church.

   Surviving are a son, Edwin P. Westbrook of Courtland; three daughters, Mrs. 
Spotswood Smith of Albany, Ga., Mrs. Ellsworth Jones and Mrs. Warren Councill 
of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Wills of Richmond; six grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren.
