Westbrook of Sebrell, died Saturday afternoon, March 27, in a Richmond hospital after an illness of many months. She was a daughter of the late John I. and Mrs. Ellen Barham Turner of the county, and she was a member of the Sebrell Methodist Church. Surviving her are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Westbrook Brooks and Mrs. India Westbrook Phillips, both of Sandston; two granddaughters, Eileen Ann and Silvia Fay Brooks of Sandston; one sister, Mrs. Hugh Westbrook, and one brother, Reginald B. Turner, both of Franklin; and five nieces and ten nephews. On Monday afternoon the body was taken from the Holland Funeral Home to the cemetery at Courtland, where graveside services were conducted at two o'clock by Rev. E.R. Collie, pastor of the Courtland Methodist Church. "Jesus, Lover of My Soul" was sung by Joel Holland. The active pallbearers were Reginald B. Turner, Jr., James Turner, Howard Turner, Gillette Turner, Edgar Turner, and Keith Turner. Among relatives attending the funeral service were Mrs. Sue Bocrie and Mr. and Mrs. James Turner of Washington, D.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Turner and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Gillette Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Shelley Turner, Misses Ellen and Rose Turner, and Mrs. Annie Turner, all of Richmond; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Boone of Norfolk; and Mrs. T.H. Birdsong, T.H. Birdsong, Jr., Mrs. H.H. Macklin, and Judge James L. McLemore, all of Suffolk. Rosa Joseph (TURNER; Mrs. Sidney R.)
