John Benjamin Wade Funeral Held Tuesday 

  JOYNER - Funeral services for John Benjamin Wade Jr., who died Sunday, were 
conducted yesterday at 2 p.m. at Joyner Methodist Church by the pastor, the 
Rev. David Willis, and the Rev Junius Cassell, pastor of the Antioch Baptist 
Church.  Burial was in Antioch Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Millard Wade 
Jr., Edwin Wade, John Wade III, Calvin Richardson, James Richardson and C.G. 
Harrup Jr. 


John Benjamin WADE, Jr., of Capron, farmer, Army veteran of WW-I, 
b. 1 Jul 1895*, Sussex Co., suicide 23 Feb 1958, 
interred in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery*, Yale, Sussex Co., 25 Feb 1958, 
"Suffolk (VA) News-Herald," Vol. 36, No. 48, Wed., Feb. 26, 1958, p. 12

His parents, J.B. Sr. & Lucy Amy (RICHARDSON) WADE, are also buried there. 

D.Cert. 5593 (Franklin #28) gives b. 1 Jul 1894; never married.
