Julian Hudson Wade, Jr., the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Wade of Courtland, died at his home in that town Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock. He and his sister, Hazel, aged 11, had been ill with typhoid for about three weeks, and the death of the little boy is particularly distressing at this time. Everyone who knew him liked him as a bright and interesting lad, an especial favorite in the Primary Department of the Courtland Baptist Sunday School, where he had been a regular attendant since cradle roll days. He is survived by his parents, one sister, and many sorrowing relatives. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev. Kenneth E. Burke, pastor of the Courtland Baptist Church, and interment was made in the family plot in the cemetery at Capron. The body bearers were: Lewis Davis, Hennen McLemore, Grady Story, Samuel Cooke, Herman Caroon and Rudolph Rogers. Julian Hudson WADE, Jr., son of J. Hudson & Zora B.
