Feb. 26 at East Pavilion, Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. Mrs. Wade, a native of Southampton, was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy Slade. She was a member of the Millfield Baptist Church, Ivor and the Ladies Aid Society. She also helped her husband in the Berlin Cash Store. She graduated from Ivor High School. Survivors include: her husband, Herman Wade; one daughter Carolyn W. Drewry of Ivor; one grandaughter, Linda Kay Cass of Courtland, and one nephew, A.H. Cutright of Ivor. Funeral services were held at Purviance Funeral Home, Saturday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. Rev. Michael Harrell officiated. Burial was in the Millfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
