WADE DIES OF ACCIDENT INJURIES Millard Jarratt Wade, 37, died at Raiford Hospital yesterday afternoon at about 3 o’clock from injuries sustained Monday night in an accident at B.B.H. Motor Company on Fourth Avenue here, where he was employed. Mr. Wade, a mechanic, was working on a truck when it started rolling down a ramp and caught him against a brick wall, inflicting terrible internal injuries. Ed Hassell, who was working in the garage at the same time, carried him to the hospital. The accident occurred around 8 o’clock. Mr. Wade was the son of Mrs. Lucy A. Wade of Joyner and the late John Benjamin Wade. He is survived, besides his mother, by his wife, Mrs. Anna Sammons Wade; a daughter, Elizabeth W. Wade; three sons, Millard, Jr., Edwin and John Wade; four brothers, Leslie L. Wade of Courtland, Crawford R. Wade of Sebrell and John B. and Ashby Wade of Joyner, and two sisters, Mrs. George W. Williams of Joyner and Mrs. D.H. Avent of Richmond. Mr. Wade was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church and of the Bruner Bible Class of the church. Services will be conducted from the residence in West Franklin at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. The Rev. R. D. Stephenson, pastor of the deceased, assisted by the Rev. B.B. Bland of High Street Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Pallbearers will be Dr. T.A. Morgan, Dr. E.F. Reese, Jr. of Courtland, J.F. Briggs, N.C. Barbour of Greensboro, N.C., P.B. Edwards, Jr. of Joyner, H.E.
