SARAH CATHERINE DUKE LUTER WADE

  IVOR - Sarah Luter Wade, 83, died Nov. 29, in a Franklin hospital. 

  Mrs. Wade, a native of Nansemond County, was the widow of Willie E. Wade. 
She and her husband operated Wade's Grocery.  She was a member of Ivor 
Baptist Church. 

  Survivors include three daughters, Frances W. Council and Catherine W. 
McGeoch, both of Ivor and Ruby W. Vaughan of Franklin; a son, Edward O. Wade 
of Courtland; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

  The funeral was conducted Tuesday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by 
the Rev. Irvin Acree.  Burial was in Ivor Cemetery.
