J. Wade, who died Thursday after several years of failing health, were held Saturday afternoon from the Capron Baptist Church, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. A.W. Coates, assisted by Rev. Floyd P. Davis of Courtland Baptist Church and Rev. Clifford Ramsey of the Methodist Church, in the midst of a large assembly of loved ones and friends. Mr. Wade was 78 years old, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed citizens of the county and a most active and faithful member of the Capron Baptist Church. Even after his health had failed he was a faithful attendant to the church services and was always ready to help every worthy cause. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.P. Cox of Boykins; two sons, J.N. Wade of Capron and J.H. Wade of Courtland; three grandchildren and one great- grandchild. His body was laid to rest in the Capron Cemetery.
