Wallace Tucker. He died Friday in Greenville Memorial Hospital, Emporia. A native of Lunenburg County, he was the husband of Mrs. Mamie Jarratt Whitby. He was a retired farmer and a member of Thomas Memorial* United Methodist Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Johnson of Richmond; four sons, Ned W. Whitby of Bellbrook, Ohio, William T. Whitby of Hayes, Raymond L. Whitby of Capron and Joe T. Whitby of Tallassee, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
