DOTTIE IDA (BAILEY) WHITFIELD Mrs. Dottie* Ida Whitfield, 61, wife of John Ezra Whitfield, died at a Norfolk hospital Wednesday morning at 4:40 o'clock. Besides her husband She is survived by two sons, George M. and C. Reese Whitfield, both of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. L. W. Collier of Portsmouth; two brothers, Judson Bailey of Suffolk and Robert Bailey of Ivor; two sisters, Mrs. L. R. Griffin of Garrisville and Mrs. J. D. McClenny of Franklin; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Whitfield was a native of Isle of Wight County and had been a resident of Norfolk for fifteen years She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon (Friday) at the Holloman- Brown funeral Home in Norfolk, and burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Dotie Ida (BAILEY; Mrs. John E.)
