He was the husband of Mrs. Ella Wade Watson and the son of Mrs. Mamie B. Watson of Warren, Ark., and the late F.G. Watson. Mr. Watson was an employee of Union Bag-Camp Corp. in the Forestry Department. He was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Franklin for the past 20 years. He was a member of the High Street Methodist Church. Surviving, besides his wife and mother, are one daughter Mrs. John W. Belote of Cape Charles; three sons J. Belin Watson, Jr. of Fishburne Military Academy, Waynesboro; George Wade Watson and Frank G. Watson of Franklin, two sisters, Mrs. Wallace D. Hurley of Camden. Ark., and Mrs. Lawton Green of Leland, Miss., and three grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** JOHN BELIN WATSON FRANKLIN - Funeral services for John Belin Watson, who died at his home Friday morning were conducted at the graveside in Poplar Spring Cemetery Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Gilliam C. Bentley, pastor of High Street Methodist Church, and Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of Franklin Baptist Church. Pallbearers were J.E. McGowan, John Magee, Jr., William Lankford, Howard Cotton, Winston Browne, J.B. Johnson, Randolph Denson and James E. Henry.
