He was the son of the late Everett and Mary Eliza Whitley. Survivors are seven children; several grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Holland of Norfolk. Funeral services for Mr. Whitley were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at New Hope Methodist Church.
