All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JAMES ROBERT WATERSTON* James Robert Waterstone, 72, brother of Mrs. Gertrude Waterston Close of Richmond and Courtland, died unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, March 25, in Portsmouth General Hospital. Mr. Waterston was a native of Ohio, but had been a resident of West Norfolk for a number of years. He was the son of the late James and Emily Branderberry Waterstone. In addition to Mrs. Close, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Theo Hause of Montipelier, Ohio. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, with Rev. C.A. McCormick, Jr., pastor of the Courtland Methodist Church, officiating. Pallbearers were Lloyd A. Applewhite, Robert, Kenneth and George J. Close, John Rollison and Leroy Bryant. James Robert WATERSTON, b.
