Wall, 61, who was in the sheet metal business and who was associated for 25 years with the firm of W.T. Pace of Franklin, died suddenly at his residence on Second Avenue Wednesday morning, July 11, after a heart attack. Mr. Wall, a resident of Franklin 32 years, was the husband of Mrs. Eula Mae Denning Wall of Franklin. He was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church and of the Bruner Bible Class of the church. He was also a member of the Franklin Lodge No. 51, Knights of Pythias, and of the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Claudia and Floyd W. Wall, Jr., both of Franklin; one daughter, Mrs. George Williams of Capron; five grandchildren, one brother, Joe D. Wall of Durham, N.C., and a half-sister, Mrs. Eva Deans of Murfreesboro, N.C. and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at the graveside in Poplar Spring Cemetery by Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church. Pallbearers were W.T. Pace, Jr., B.R. Carr, Willie M. Weede, Wilson Holland, Charles Corbitt, R.E. Sandlin, Harry Cobb and Glenn Lanier.
