He is survived besides his brother, by a daughter Mrs. A.J. Harrup, of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Joyner, of Courtland, Va. and 5 grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Purvience Funeral Home, Boykins to the grave in the cemetery at Courtland, where the service will be held at 3:00 o'clock tomorrow. ****************************************************************************** LONNIE DILLARD WILLIFORD On February 3, at 1:30 p.m., Lonnie Dillard Williford, 68, dropped dead on a woods path at his brother’s farm in Pope, where he had made his home. He is survived by his brother, John Williford of Pope, one daughter, Mrs. H.J. Harrup of Ivor, five grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Jennie Joyner, Courtland. The remains were removed to the Purviance Funeral Home where it was kept until the hour of funeral. Services were conducted at the grave in Courtland cemetery with the Rev. L.D. Stables of Capron Methodist Church officiating. The choir sang, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," "God Be with You Till We Meet Again" and "Rock of Ages." Pallbearers were E.V. Stephenson, R.H. Cornwell, Fred Raiford, J.H. Grizzard, John D. Burgess and W.K. Whitfield.
