ANNIS WILLS Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Annis Wills, who died July 17, were held last Friday afternoon from Millfield Baptist Church at 4 o’clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. T.N. Tombes, assisted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson of Franklin. The choir sang "Does Jesus Care?" and "The Heaven of Rest." Mr. Lawrence of Wakefield sang "Sunrise Tomorrow," with Mrs. Samuel B. Cutchins of Franklin playing the accompaniment. There were many beautiful offerings, the casket being covered with a pall of white gladioli and lavender asters. The active pallbearers were: Raby Conwell, B.P. Taylor, Edgar V. Stephenson, H.W. Wade, Roy Stephenson, Charlie Sedley, Garland Davis and A.J. Harrup. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
