Dudley Wills, was born August 15, 1921, and God took him, an exceptionally friendly and attractive child to go and live with Him November 9, 1922. Rudolph for three weeks suffered with a complication of diseases, every attention that love could prompt was given him but he too was another flower plucked to adorn its place with the angels. Many hearts will miss his smiling face and childish prattle. The remains were taken to Rosemont Cemetery on Friday and Rev. J.E. Brooks conducted the funeral services with the choir using the appropriate hymns, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," "Sometimes We’ll Understand" and "That Sweet Story of Old." The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Four uncles of the deceased were active pallbearers, N.W. and A.O. Wills, F.D. and Felton Mitchell. The honorary pallbearers were members of the Cradle Roll of Grace Memorial Church of which Rudolph was a member and the following also served, Dr. R.L. Raiford, G.S. Cornwell, W.H. Drewry, R.L. Johnson, R.B. Beale, J.C. Wellons and T.F. Hundley. With the parents grieve many relatives and friends who largely attended the funeral services. Dudley Rudolph WILLS, son of J. Dudley & Louise T.
