WILSON Funeral services for Mrs. Emma S. Wilson, mother of S.J. Wilson of Boykins, were held in the Purviance Funeral Home January 14, at 3:00 p.m., with Dr. R.A. Helton officiating. Mrs. H.M. Purviance sang "Nearer My God To Thee" and "Sunrise." The active pallbearers were: C.L. Johnson, J.T. Davis, W.F. McKinstry, Ray A. Bunn, W. Herbert Britt, and W. Hugh Powell, Sr. Interment was in Beechwood Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson died Friday afternoon, January 11, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.J. Mangin, of Trenton, New Jersey. She is survived by two sons, S.J. Wilson of Boykins, and B.F. Wilison of Norfolk, one daughter, Mrs. A.J. Mangin, of Trenton, N.J., one brother, J.C. Judkins of Suffolk, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie B. Spivey of Bethel, N.C., and Mrs. Ada Butler of Franklin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her mother Rebecca Frances (WILLIFORD) JUDKINS applied for a pension 3 May 1900 & 6 Jan 1903.
