KATHERINE VIRGINIA PRESSON WILSON

MRS. W.W. WILSON

   Mrs. Katherine Virginia Wilson, 46, died Thursday morning in the Medical 
College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond, after a long illness.

   She was a lifelong resident of the Franklin community.  She was the wife 
of Wesley W. Wilson and the daughter of John C. Presson and the late Mrs. 
Georgia Mae Stakes Presson of Princess Anne County.

   She was a member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church.

   Besides her father and husband, she is survived by two sons, Gilbert H. 
Story and Wesley W. Wilson, Jr., both of Franklin; three daughters, Judy Fay 
Story, Joyce Wilson and Alice Wilson, all of Franklin; five brothers, Waverly 
C. Presson of Boydton, Vernon C. Presson, Willie H. Presson, Eugene Lee 
Presson and Melvin H. Presson, all of Franklin, and one grandchild.

   A funeral service was conducted at W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home 
Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Tucker G. Humphries, pastor of Franklin 
Congregational Christian Church, and the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton Jr., pastor 
of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Luther Hunnings, Howard Blythe, Dorcie Phillips, Randolph 
Ricks, Robert R. Faison and Meredith Turner.
