LONNIE M. VICK WALTON

   Chesapeake - Funeral services for Lonnie M. Walton, 83, were held Sunday 
in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Carlton E. Smith. 
Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery Boykins.

   The widow of Ivan L. Walton and a native of Boykins died Thursday in a 
Norfolk hospital.

   She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

   Survivors include a daughter, Edith Combs of Hialeah, Fla.; two sons, 
Sidney Walton of Chesapeake and Randolph Walton of Hopewell; a sister, 
Callie Lee of Portsmouth; and seven grandchildren.
