Thornton Jr. and T.A. Powell. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Lynn Redd, Jerry Cale, Wilbur Drewry, Joe Stephens, William H. Duck, Elmo Fowler, Wilson Holland Jr., and Junious Bradshaw. He died Sunday in a Suffolk hospital. A native of Bertie county, N.C., he was the husband of Mrs. Naomi Brock Williams. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frances W. Davis of Suffolk and Mrs. Pauline W. Manson of Bedford; a son Everett C. Williams Jr. of Rochester, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Annie M. Harrell of Potecos, N.C.; five grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
