Mr. Williams, a native of Franklin, had retired after 41 years of service with Union-Camp Corp. He was Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the High Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mae "Topsy" Johnson Williams; a daughter, Becky W. Franks of Hampton; a son, F. Warren Williams Jr. of Richmond; two sisters, Lillian Carden of Quantico, and Mabel Stevenson of Gordonsville; and five grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Friday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. John A. Siegle. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in the American Lung Association or the High Street United Methodist Church.
