Miss Williams was born in 1901, the daughter of Gertrude Alice Taylor and William George Williams. After graduating from Westhampton College she worked for a few years for the Richmond newspaper. In 1926 she returned to Franklin and was employed by Union Camp Manufacturing Co. She retired in 1966 from Union Camp. Miss Williams was a lifelong member of Franklin Baptist Church. She is surviving by twelve nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10 at 11 a.m. in the Franklin Baptist Church by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, was in charge of arrangements.
