All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ HENRY AARON WILLIAMS Funeral services for Henry Aaron Williams, a native of Franklin but for the past forty-five years a resident of Norfolk, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery by a reader from the First Church, Christian Science, Norfolk, of which Mr. Williams was a member. Mr. Williams died at 5:20 o’clock on Thursday afternoon, June 27, after an illness of one month. At the time of his death he was 87 years of age. He was the son of the late John and Mrs. Eliza Camp Williams of Franklin. For a number of years he was a merchant in Franklin, but moved to Norfolk in 1903. Since then he had engaged in the real estate business in Norfolk, his last association being under the name of Williams and Guy. He retired three year ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.G.P. Bugg of Norfolk and Mrs. Roland A. Williams of Curundu, Canal Zone; one son, H.A. Williams, Jr., of Miami Beach, Fla.; one brother, John A. Williams of Franklin; and four grandchildren. He was the brother of the late W.G. Williams and the late J.C. Williams of Franklin. Pallbearers were R.J. Tucker, M. Wharton Williams, James I. Beale, Wesley H. Beale and J.C. Williams, Jr., of Franklin, Ernest and Eugene Williams of Murfreesboro, N.C. and Frank C. Williams of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
