Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel, Franklin, by the Rev. W.F. McMahan. Burial was in Capron Cemetery. Pallbearers were William Lee Everett Jr., Phillip Edwards, Sidney Williams, Clifton Williams, Lewis Babb, Chess Majette, Marvin Felton, V.S. Pittman, Sr. Williams, 71, died Friday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.* A native of Southampton County, he was a son of James Robert and Mrs. Mittie Wrenn Story Williams and the husband of Mrs. Vera Bryant Williams. He was a member of Capron Methodist Church and Indiantown Hunt Club and a Charter member of Capron Ruritan Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eva Wrenn Cobb of Drewryville; a son, James C. Williams Jr. of Capron; three sisters, Mrs. A.O. Wills of Norfolk, Mrs. D.C. Magette of Courtland, and Mrs. S.L. Joyner of Jarratt; and six grandchildren.
