JOHN THOMAS WILLIAMS

   FRANKLIN - Funeral services for John Thomas Williams Sr., 64, were held 
Monday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.  Burial was in 
Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Williams died Saturday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   He was a native of Dinwiddie County and the husband of Bonnie Eure Williams.

   He was a retired supervisor of Union Camp Corp. and a member of Franklin 
Baptist Church.

   Other survivors include two daughters, Jane W. Butler of Franklin, and 
Shirley W. Wier of Suffolk; two sons, John Thomas Williams, Jr. of Kill Devil 
Hills, N.C. and Linwood Moore Williams of Franklin; and four grandchildren.
