JANIE ENGLISH WILLIAMS

   SUFFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Jane English Williams was conducted 
Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by 
the Rev. Jerry D. Odom.  Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.

   Pallbearers were Marvin Butler, Sam Butler Jr., B.L. Saunders, E.A. 
Clarke, L.O. Brock, and James Hedgepeth.

   Mrs. Williams, 55, died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the wife of Thomas Baxton 
Williams and a daughter of the late John Thomas and Mrs. Josephine Carr 
English.

   She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

   Besides her husband, surviving are two sons, John Thomas Williams and 
George R. Williams of Suffolk; and a brother, Stanley E. English of Emporia.
