She was the daughter of Mrs. Lucy Richardson Wade of Sussex County and the late John B. Wade. A member of the Joyner Methodist Church, Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, George W. Williams of Joyner; two sons, Stanley D. and George Williams, Jr., both of Joyner; one daughter, Mrs. C.F. Smith of Norfolk; her mother; six grandchildren; and four brothers, A.B. and J.B. Wade of Joyner, C.R. Wade of Courtland, and L.L. Wade of Emporia. Funeral services for Mrs. Williams were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Joyner Methodist Church, with Rev. L.O. Wright of Capron officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, the active pallbearers being J.H. Dunn, Joel Dunn, S.S. Felton, W.O. Flowers, Will Partridge and J.C. Williams.
