Williams, 80, died Thursday morning in a Richmond hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Courtland community and a member of Old Trinity Methodist Church. He was a son of James Franklin and Mrs. Rebecca Joyner Williams of Southampton county. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sallie Little Williams; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca W. Burruss of Richmond; two brothers, Leslie L. Williams of Sedley and Reginald J. Williams of Ellerson; a sister, Mrs. Gardner Hundley, Sr., of Sedley; and a grandson. A funeral service was conducted in Sebrell Cemetery Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harold Moreland of Grace Methodist Church, Sedley. Pallbearers were: Walter White Cobb, David Kitchen, Lineberry Grisson, Richard Dickerson, Odell Joyner, M.R. Bryant, Jr., and Cedric Pittman.
